The Class 02 runs very well and the details are very good.
There was an issue with the first one, but this was resolved in an exemplary manner and replacement is a wonderful little engine. It has super slow crawling, something of a requirement with a shunter, a realistic top speed. The motor is smooth. Assembled well, zero glue marks or paint defects.
Very good runner, easy converting to DCC /Sound.
Just the switching lights shine very poor. Maybe the acrylic leadings are damaged by glue or construction failure. Only the outside lamps l/r are lighted, the middle lamps are dummy lights.
Painting and details very well done, so the cab interior.

Bargain at the price and arrived quickly enough. Looks the part, the blue might be a little on the dark side, but not so much that it bothers me. Can't beat a bit of plain be blue!

What a great choice to model. Something as a boy, seeing at Oban and crianlarich-I could only dream of having.

Runs fine and looks good, Quite happy with. It does weigh some.
I bought this and also a Dapol 121 single car unit (as Heljan's one now impossible to track down!). Although they're similar, this one definitely has the edge! Really well built and quite substantial.
